This is a website that was initiated by the participants of a Lorentz workshop in Leiden in 2017, with the title “Computational Ethnomusicology”. In this workshop, (ethno)-musicologists and engineers came together to explore the gaps between engineering and humanities when it comes to the study of music in cultural context.
This site is meant to provide contact information of researchers involved into the area, links to music corpora, and discussions about research directions.
